Nurses

Our Practice Nurse is available for routine health checks, cervical smears, routine blood tests, dressings etc. She also co-ordinates the practice programme for managing diabetes, asthma, coronary heart disease, stroke and hypertension. Details can be obtained from reception. |
Healthcare Assistants

Senga is fully trained in taking blood, blood pressure readings and various other treatment room services. |
Practice Management
Moira Fletcher |
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. |
Reception
Our receptionists are here to welcome you and help with any administrative or non-medical aspect of your health treatment. They are fully trained and bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors. They will ask certain questions so they can ensure you receive your treatment from the most appropriate medical team member. |
Community Nurses
The District Nurses visit patients who are confined to the home to provide care and advice. They also perform blood tests, ear syringing, dressings etc. They can be contacted on 355 2180. |
Health Visitors
Our Health Visitors are qualified nurses who have special training to offer advice and health education. They also run immunisation clinics.
